Last Weekend 4/14 – 4/16
Friday: I went to the Long Beach Grand Prix in the morning with Mi. We road our bike’s there during the day and got to see some of the fastest cars in the world race. There was alot of noise from the engines of the cars and there was a lot of bad fumes. I also had a conversation with HR about working from home which was not fun. Later on, Sloane came over and we drove to the JCC to play basketball. It was the first time in years we had played. I played with Sl and Mi just shooting around guarding each other playing 1 on 1. After the game, I realized I could die happy just being able to step out onto the court again which I never thought was possible. Afterward, I went over to Br and Mi’s place to watch the final episode of Love is Blind. Sl and Je made a surprise appearance and it was all six of us watching and hanging. After, everyone left and Br, Mi and myself went to the bar Black where we played fun dancing games and had a drink. What an amazing night.
Saturday: I woke up and submitted content to the Nudge. I am trying out to be there content contributor and so I used Instagram to use the clips that I had taken during the Grand Prix to add them together and do a voice over narration. The clip came out great and I submitted the content. Still waiting on their response. Then I ended up going to Costco to pick up a bunch of food as well the UPS store to return an Amazon item. I got to talk to my sister over the phone too! At night, drew and I ended up going out to Padre and the Blind Donkey where we met a cute girl whom we both got her number and talked to her for 30 mins. What a waste of time because she ghosted us after.
Sunday: I went for a bike ride to Trader Joes and picked up some snacks for a date I had with a girl at the park. The date was cool, she is an awesome person, a school therapist as well as Jewish and lives right next to me. We didn’t eat any of the food so I had it for lunch and dinner. I then went home and drove down to Crystal Cove near Newport for a hike with Drew. I used my ruck sack for the 3 mile hike and it was super hard. I got through it though and felt better for it. When I got home, I did some watching of Friday Night Lights, ate dinner and made my way over Br’s place to watch the Love is Blind reunion. It never showed but that was okay because I got to hang out with Br and Je and talk about everything. I also got to fix Br’s sink as it was clogged. All in all, best weekend ever!
